According to sources, Ms. Palfrey was supposed to have the names, dates, and places of some very, very powerful men in her journal. Many a political career may have been ended should that information come forth. Am I the only who’s seen a movie where the person targeted for assassination is disposed of via means which appears to be suicide? I mean, have you seen that chillingly efficient scene in “Michael Clayton” where a high powered attorney in possession of some critical internal memos is shuffled off this mortal coil because he was considered an unmanageable threat? Chilling scene.

Nah, for my money, though she was surrounded by many suicide notes, I would wager there is a little more to that event than meets the eye. Though it takes a small leap of logic to get there, people have killed for less than a political career. We’ll never know for sure, but, as stated before, it certainly falls into the interesting category.
