Backup and Me

I’m going full-disclosure here. I live in a back-up free universe. Not that that’s a good thing. It’s a horrible thing. Sure, I have a NAS to which I download all my files now and again. But, in my world, now and again is when I feel like it, when I have time, or when the mood strikes. The mood doesn’t strike me all that often, if I’m honest. Digital Mayhem Continues

With the flick of a switch (metaphorically, of course), the U.S. was supposed to join the other technologically advanced countries of the world and begin broadcasting television in an all-digital format. However, our government, in their infinite wisdom, has decided to delay the original February 17, 2009, switch-over date until mid-June, 2009. There was so much acrimony over changing the date, the government made it optional. Perfect. If people weren’t confused before… Why the fuss, Max? I’ll tell you why. This just doesn’t add up. Locked Out

Interesting thing happened on the way to normal life. I was locked out of my WordPress blog with a suspicious redirect issue. Got a pretty good idea what happened and continue investigating the logs to narrow down my response. However, fixed the issue with a little effort. Glad to be back.
