iPhone + iPhoto = Annoying

Do you own an iPhone? Are you annoyed by the fact every time you sync your iPhone with your Mac, iPhoto pops up and tries to download your iPhone photos, even if you downloaded them already? I’ve been suffering with that for a while and finally snapped. After ranting about it, I decided to look high and low for a fix. Digital Conversion

And so the digital conversion quickly approaches. Set for Febrauary 17th, 2009, the United States is prepped to change all broadcast signals from analog to digital with the flip of a switch but that date may be delayed by the Obama administration. In a letter to The Congress, Obama asked for the conversion date to be moved to July. Meanwhile, the federal government will re-fund the coupon program in the hopes many more people will be able to get the digital conversion box needed by those who don’t have a cable or satellite provider (which automatically convert the signal for the consumer). AT&T Tap Dance

So, as you know, I’ve been enjoying my iPhone G3 since purchase. I’ve been thrilled at the ability to GPS yourself anywhere, to use apps for this and that — but truth be told, when it all comes down to it, I just want a couple of things out of a smartphone: the ability to make calls, and the ability to take a snapshot now and again.
